DeWalt Electric Tools and DeWalt’s Vision
DEWALT is among the world’s leading makers of specialized power tools and accessories. From the time he stopped schooling, Raymond E. DeWalt pursued his own father's footsteps. This is by investing in construction and mill jobs. Although high labor expenses often concerned him, he kept his stand. To facilitate the reduction of the costs, he would sometimes assemble a piece of machine that would help meet some of these concerns.
In due course, Raymond DeWalt became the head of a woodworking mill company. This company produced things from boxes to houses. Thus, the company’s President then does not intend to increase their payroll, so DeWalt simply made it his obligation to help his workers. He crafted a yoke and fixed it to a saw and motor. He then fastened it onto an arm. The saw started to slide back and forth. Then they found out that it could be raised, lowered, and moved to any level or angle. His invention is capable of doing the work of 4 laborers. This reduced his labor expenses.
This day, the DEWALT Power Tools product line carries more than 200 electric tools. It also has more than 800 accessories. This would include hammer drills, screwdrivers, circular and the reciprocating; along with the chop, table, miter, and jig saws. It also includes planers, impact wrenches, angle and bench die grinders, and shears; plus nibblers, laminate trimmers, and plate joiners, among others.
